Transportation Department Receives Total Fleet Excellence Award from the Missouri State Highway Patrol!
Congratulations to the fantastic Raytown Quality Schools Transportation Department for earning the Total Fleet Excellence Award from the Missouri State Highway Patrol!
Every year, every bus in the district’s fleet is inspected by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. They check the ins and outs of all buses in the fleet – from air brakes, to windshield wipers, to engines – all with the goal of ensuring our students have the safest rides in town.
Receiving the Total Fleet Excellence Award is a huge accomplishment. This award is earned by having over 90% of buses pass inspection. Only 256 of the 518 school districts in Missouri have earned this award for the 2023 school year.
The district’s drivers report all maintenance issues in a timely manner, allowing the mechanics team the opportunity to fix any bus issues quickly. Congratulations again, and thank you for making us so proud!
